I completed medical school at The Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University and then came to the Wake Forest University Department of Family and Community Medicine to complete my residency training.
I chose family medicine as my specialty because it allows me to cultivate meaningful relationships with my patients. I love when I can help my patients realize that they can make a positive impact on their health by changing their lifestyle or help guide them through a shared decision making process . I enjoy seeing all age groups and walks of life. When I am not in clinic, I am a busy mom of 4 kids , with a love for cooking and eating good food, and spending time with my family and friends.
